Vinification: Grapes are harvested by hand after a bunch selection in the vineyard. Stems are removed and grapes are soft pressed; maceration and the beginning of spontaneous alcoholic fermentation takes place in conical wooden tanks of 53 Hl at a maximum temperature of 28°C, for about 25 days.
Aging: The wine spends 12/14 months in oak French barrels and then aged for about 12 months in bottles.
Tasting notes: Deep ruby red with mineral and small fruits notes followed by mature fruit and light hints of toast with a slightly spicy finish. Full bodied, warm and round, extremely elegant and well balanced. It has non-aggressive tannins and good acidity, an excellent intense finish.
