Zanin 1895 – High Quality Spirits Since 1895

In the mid-800 Bortolo Zanin opened an inn, which offered, between the various local food and drinks, even the “white spirit”. Zugliano people developped a passion for the “graspe” so much that Bortolo decided to begin to expand the production of distillates. In the ’40s, with the inn all in all closed, the son Rino continued the expansion activity of the distillery and aging of destillates, leading to fame the Cavallina Bianca brand. In the ’70s, with Fausto Zanin the company expands abroad, in 38 countries. Today the distillery is led by Piero Zanin and his brother-in-law Massimo Fontana, which have enlarged the production to new premises in Zugliano, restoring the old mill acquired by father Fausto. Four generations linked by the same passion, illustrated in the essence of every drop labeled Zanin 1895.

Moscato Grappa

Grappa Moscato, obtained by distillation of single-grape pomace. It is a refined and young grappa, with a sweet scent and a clean and refined taste, which is why it should be tasted alone with a narrow-necked glass.

Moscato Grappa comes from the distillation of Muscat marc. It is a young grappa with a crystalline color with 40 ° of alcohol content, and has an intense aroma in which you can hear the typical and sweet notes of muscat grapes, refined aromas of peach, apple, pear, orange, candied fruit and white rose with pungency of alcohol that you feel slightly. The flavor fully resumes in its softness immediately feels the alcohol but dissolves almost immediately, the hints of muscat grapes with a sweet sensation, such as to make it appreciated even by those who usually do not taste grappa. The finish is very persistent with hints of grapes, banana and peach.

This grappa is distilled in discontinuous alambicco to caldaiette and given its particularity, it is advisable to drink it in purity with a narrow neck glass to enhance the perfumes more, it is advisable to taste it at a temperature not higher than 16 ° C.
