It’s not easy to circumscribe the Dolce & Gabbana universe within a definition. A world made up of sensations, traditions, culture and a Mediterranean nature. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have made a trademark of their surnames which is known throughout the world, easily recognizable thanks to its glamour and great versatility.

Duo Dolce & Gabbana is the result of the creative union of two stylistic talents. Domenico Dolce, born in Polizzi Generosa, Palermo, in 1958, worked with his father in the family-run fashion company and studied fashion design. Stefano Gabbana, Milanese, born in 1962, started to work in some fashion houses, despite having a graphics background.

Two different paths, a common vision of fashion, the same idea of “woman”. They made their debut during October 1985, amongst the young designers invited at Milano Collezioni by Beppe Modenese, in the New Talents group.

The Concept

From the Mediterranean, epicentre of harmonies and contrasts, the classic perfume, Dolce&Gabbana Pour Femme, is reborn embodying the essence of the Dolce&Gabbana woman – passionate, sensual and maternal. For the woman that is aware of her strength and her instincts.

The Design

The Dolce&Gabbana Pour Femme bottle is a little masterpiece of luxury; a bottle of purity, compact with precise angles lending an image of absolute elegance, which blossoms enticingly into a crimson coloured cap supported by a solid base of gold.

Top Notes

The seductive, soft and soothing neroli intertwined with nuances of raspberry, is given a playful lift with a hint of tart green mandarin.

Heart Notes

A heart of voluptuous sensuality, a softly undulating perfume of potent florals – velvety jasmine melting into the citrus sweetness of orange blossom.

Base Notes

The addictive and seductive qualities of the sugary ‘Guimauve’ introduce the full bodied sensuality of the vanilla base notes. This captivating feature of the perfume is further lit up by the roundness of heliotrope and the smooth intense cream sandalwood.
