The master Cataruozzolo, who for Il Borgo del Balsamico creates and produces the Spantorrone del Borgo (naturally balsamic) every year, has studied together with Cristina Crotti a wonderful fig soaked in the red label seasoning, finished with a sweet covering of dark chocolate.

Sweets of The Borgo

The dried fig of Cilento covered with chocolate has always been a delicious and highly appreciated during the Christmas period. The classic recipe wants it with almond and chocolate coating.

The packaging, designed specifically to become a greedy cadeaux, is an elegant cylinder of rigid cardboard like all the Dolce del Borgo del Balsamico products.
